On July 4th, Zhang Xianliang, Director of the Fisheries and Fishery Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and a delegation of three people, accompanied by Zhang Jiandong, Deputy Director of the Agriculture and Rural Department of Shandong Province, Gao Shuliang, Deputy Mayor of Weihai Municipal Government, Liu Changsong, Mayor of Rongcheng Municipal Government, and other leaders, visited the Shawo Island National Offshore Fisheries Base for research work. Xu Yunchuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group Company, and Lian Renjie, General Manager, reported on their work.

Director Zhang conducted on-site research on aquatic product deep processing park, Shawo Island central fishing port, Yuantong outfitting dock and other places, and then held a symposium to listen to the situation report. Xu Yunchuan reported in detail to Director Zhang on the construction of the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishery Base, the existing constraints, suggestions, and plans for the next steps of work. Director Zhang fully affirmed the company's efforts to vigorously develop the blue economy, with offshore fishing as the leader and the Shawo Island National Offshore Fishing Base as the platform, promoting high-quality development of the marine economy, and building an important aquatic product processing and trade distribution center in Northeast Asia. He praised the achievements of the base and gave important instructions for its future development.
